Role: We urgently require qualified engineering professionals to fill the Design Engineer – Electrical role. Candidates must have extensive experience of working on offshore / onshore oil and gas projects or refinery / petrochemical projects. Duties and Responsibilities Working with the Lead Electrical Engineer, develop the following major deliverables and provide the following major services: • Single Line diagrams • Hazardous Area Classification drawings • Power Plans, including High Voltage. • Power Cable Trench Layouts including Trench Sections. • Cable stub-up details. • Electrical Equipment Layouts for Substations and Control Rooms • Grounding and Lightning Protection plans • Lighting plans (including receptacles) • Panel Schedules • Electrical Schematic diagrams • Electrical Terminal Wiring and Interconnection diagrams • Cable Schedule (Instrumentation, communication, fire alarm, etc.) • Cable Power Schedule Communication and Fire Alarm plans • Communication Schematics • Electrical Installation details, including substation, power, • Lighting, cabling, wiring and grounding. • Protection Relay Co-Ordination Diagrams • Electrical Equipment Index • Electrical Bulk Material Take - Offs, including specifications, requisitions and data sheets Electrical installation construction specifications • Specifications for modification of existing facilities • Cathodic protection layout, wiring drawings, specifications~and requisition. • Specifications and requisition for telephone, intercommunication, and fire alarm systems. • Testing and commissioning procedures • Review and comment/approve vendor drawings and deliverables from EPC contractors Candidate: • Must have 10 years of experience with 6 years in the refinery and petrochemical industry. • Must have degree in Civil Engineering Salary: • Annual Salary $32000 + Unaccompanied Status • $850 per month unaccompanied allowance • 42 Days Annual Leave • Car provided for sole use. • Medical & Life insurance covered
